Ada Nicholaides

Life

Adarica Claire Nicholaides was born under the Third Astral Moon, the Twelfth Day, in the year 1546 to Declan Fraser Nicholaides and Honoria Azura Nicholaides, and under the patron deity of Llymlaen, but reveres her father Thaliak as well. Born in Ishgard due to her father's military service, the family soon relocated afterwards to Limsa Lominsa as soon as he reached retirement age. Still clinging to their nobility as their right, Declan founded Nicholaides Defense Industries once they settled in La Noscea in order to continue his military career and serve the realm as a naval warfare contractor. Ada is the eldest of four siblings, the first born and twin to Zarabeth Corynne. Her other siblings include Edrian Fraser Nicholaides (Ian, the only son), and her youngest sister Iria Azura. In 1569, Ada's mother passed due to an early onset of dementia. Overcome with grief, she left home soon after and continued her studies in holistic medicines and Astromancy in Ishgard as her twin also traveled abroad. Her youngest sister and brother remained in Limsa with her father. Opting to relocate back to Ishgard with the Beausejour family due to her relationship with the family.
